Epoxy self-leveling is made by combining different bottles of resin and hardeners. After combining the two solutions, the liquid is poured onto a flat surface and allowed to flow to a thickness of 1/8 inch. It then cures into a complex, transparent, scratch- and water-resistant surface. It’s commonly found on the tabletops of restaurants and bars. Because each layer is 1/8 inch thick, you’ll need to pour extra epoxy layers if you want to build a countertop with pennies, bottle caps, and other items sealed inside. The cured Epoxy has a highly bright surface that mimics glass because of its clarity. For our countertop project, we chose our best Epoxy.
